Iron Heart Genetics LLC Health/Warranty Guarantee
The puppy you purchased from Iron Heart Genetics LLC is guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase. The puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming at the time of purchase. It is the responsibility of the buyer to keep up on the puppy's vaccinations and deworming, (we recommend a DHLPP booster at 9 and 12 weeks, Rabies vaccination at 12 weeks also and monthly heartworm preventative as a dewormer) then once annually for DHLPP (Lepto can also be included in this vaccination if your veterinarian recommends it).
Iron Heart Genetics LLC requires the puppy to be in quarantine for 14 days after pickup. (Quarantine is defined as only exposed to vaccinated household pets and no other outside puppies under six months of age.) Iron Heart Genetics LLC guarantees the puppy for 10 days from the date of purchase against Parvovirus, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Corona Virus, and Bordetella. If the puppy should contract any of these sicknesses within the ten-day warranty period, Iron Heart Genetics LLC must be contacted at once. If the puppy should die of any these sicknesses within the ten-day warranty period, Iron Heart Genetics LLC must be notified of the death with documentation of the diagnosis with a veterinarian's signature. We also reserve the right of an independent necropsy performed if insuffient vet records are not provided. Any veterinary bills incurred directly related to the illness will not be covered by Iron Heart Genetics LLC. It will be the buyer's responsibility to provide Iron Heart Genetics LLC with a written veterinarian statement as to the cause of death. If the puppy dies, the registration paper will be returned to Iron Heart Genetics LLC and you will be put on the list for a replacement puppy from a future litter.
Iron Heart Genetics LLC also guarantees the puppy against any hereditary or congenital disorder that may interfere with the puppy's ability to lead a normal life. This is a one-year guarantee from date of birth, which covers disorders, such as heart murmurs, skeletal abnormalities, blindness, luxating patellas, or hip dysplasia. In the event of such an occurrence, Iron Heart Genetics LLC will place you on the list for a future replacement puppy, providing a veterinarian statement is submitted to Iron Heart Genetics LLC within ten days from the date of the diagnosis as to the nature of the problem.
Buyer understands and agrees to provide a healthy diet for the puppy.
Puppy is currently eating Royal Canin Large Breed Puppy Food at the rate of ¾ - 1 ½ cups twice a day.
BREEDER REQUIRES THAT THE PUPPY BE KEPT ON ROYAL CANIN LARGE BREED PUPPY FOR AT LEAST THE FIRST TEN MONTHS AND THEN THE FOOD CAN BE SWITCHED TO WHATEVER HIGH-QUALITY FOOD THE BUYER PREFERS. BREEDER REQUIRES FOR THIS WARRANTY TO BE VALID THIS DOG MUST BE ON A HIGH-QUALITY FOOD FOR TEN MONTHS AND WARRANTY WILL BE VOID IF OWNER CHOSES TO FEED A GRAIN FREE DIET.
Both the buyer and the seller of the puppy(s) hereby understand that the buyer is responsible for any and all veterinarian costs of every kind and nature after the date of purchase including vaccinations and deworming. No other guarantees are made or implied by Iron Heart Genetics LLC except those stated in this written health guarantee.
